Services & pricing

Every Job, Priced Before It Starts

Real ranges below — and what moves them. Your exact flat-rate price is confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Panel Upgrades

$2,400–$4,500service size and feeder length move it

Signs your panel needs to go: breakers that trip under normal life, warm spots on the cover, a Federal Pacific or Zinsco label, or simply no room for the circuits your family actually needs.

  • Load calculation and a written flat-rate quote
  • New 200-amp panel, breakers and grounding brought to current code
  • Permit filed, inspector scheduled and met on site
  • Idaho Power coordination for the service disconnect
  • Labeled circuits and a walk-through before we leave

Most panel upgrades are one working day, power back on by dinner.

EV Charger Installation

$650–$1,400 installedpanel capacity and wire run move it

Choosing a Level 2 charger starts at the panel, not the plug. We run the load calculation first — many homes can take a charger without a service upgrade, and if yours can, we'll say so.

  • Load calculation on your existing service — the honest first step
  • Level 2 (240V) circuit and charger install, any brand
  • Permit and inspection handled for you
  • Idaho Power EV rebate paperwork filed on your behalf
  • Load-management options when a panel is near its limit

Wake up to a full charge — most installs are done in half a day.

Whole-Home Generators

$6,500–$12,000 installedgenerator size and gas-line run move it

When a winter storm drops the grid, a standby generator starts itself in seconds — heat, well pump, fridge and Wi-Fi stay on whether you're home or not.

  • Sizing visit: what you want powered, and the kW that actually needs
  • Automatic transfer switch and generator pad installation
  • Gas-line coordination with a licensed fitter
  • Permit, inspection, startup and a hands-on tutorial
  • Annual maintenance option so it starts when it matters

From first visit to first automatic start: usually two to three weeks.

Every home is different — panel location, wire runs, and code requirements affect the final number. The ranges above are typical for Treasure Valley homes; your exact flat-rate price is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
